I've seen this movie over the years, and never realized Anthony Rapp was the red-headed guy.

CBC in Canada only owned the rights to a few movies in the mid 1990s, and this was one of them. They'd play it every summer for a few years - it brings back memories. Thanks for reminding me, OP.

The child actress with the Thor hangup wisely grew up to be a lesbian, graduated from Yale, became an attorney, and married her partner Lara in 2008.
And could have been a blues singer to rival Bessie Smith if she had so chosen.

I’ve never seen this movie. I’ve only seen the reboot from last year.

R8 who knew that existed?

I loved this movie when it first came out. The Thor girl is my second favorite kidnapped kid in an 80’s movie; #1 is the little girl in DC Cab, I live when she calls the kidnapper a pitiful bitch.

Anthony Rapp is gay and out. Keith Coogan didn't marry until hi 40's. Did they fool around?

Not too many actors could believably pass as a high school student in an iconic 80s movie and an iconic 90s movie "Dazed and Confused" like Anthony Rapp.
