Back to School with Kid's Sewing Classes
The best investment you can make is helping your child learn a new life skill, like sewing! Weekly fall class sign ups have already begun! Sewing classes includes all fabric, use of sewing supplies, materials & studio sewing machines. Your child brings nothing but a bottle of water, if needed. Space is limited, so sign up early to secure a spot!
All skill levels welcome - they will teach your beginning seamstress all they need to know in class!
Classes run Monday - Saturday and start at $150 a month. If you are a homeschooler, Bumblebunch Sewing Studio is a vendor for several homeschool charters and your funds could cover the cost of these sewing classes!
Curious how and what your child will learn and make with a beginning sewing class?
For their very first project, your beginning seamstress will start with making a tote bag on the sewing machine. They can select their favorite fabric and it's reversable!
Then after their cute tote is completed, they will start to learn the skills needed to move fabric around the sewing macine for future projects. Their second project is a cute curvy pillow - they can make a star or donut pillow.
Their third project will move into making their very own pajama shorts!
After they make these three projects they can move on to making level two sewing projects! This is where it's kids choice! They can choose from projects like skirts, a duffle bag, bucket hats, butterfly wings and their very own doll!
Once they have completed level 2, they can move on to level 3 sewing projects which include knit hoodie dresses, overalls jumper and a bomber jacket - just to name a few. At this point in their sewing journey, kids know their way around the sewing machine and can choose from a ton of sewing projects! Bumblebunch has over two dozen projects to pick from depending on the students interest and skill level.
