Utah's Kenadi Dodds Impresses 2/3 Judges In 'AGT' Quarterfinals

NORTH LOGAN, Utah – Utah teen Kenadi Dodds impressed the nation with another original song on “America’s Got Talent,” which she performed on the Universal lot-turned-garden.

She performed her song “Dancing Through the Stars” for the quarterfinal round on Tuesday.

“If things go wrong and we don’t get along, just remember, we’re dancing through the stars,” she sang while playing the piano.

Judges Heidi Klum and Sofia Vergara both praised Dodds’ performance, but Howie Mandel didn’t exactly share the sentiment.

“I’m gonna be honest,” he said. “That song didn’t do it for me personally. If you remove the story, if you remove what it was about –”

Klum cut Mandel off at that point.

“He’s always like that,” she said. “He never likes original songs. I think it’s amazing that you wrote it.”

What matters most will be what America thinks.

The results show is Wednesday at 7 p.m. on KSL TV.
